Tithing is a biblical principle. God calls us to give the first 10% of our income back to Him. Tithing means a tenth, and from as far back as Abraham, people would take the first 10% of their income and give it back to God.

“‘Bring the WHOLE TITHE (tenth) into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. TEST ME in this,’ says the Lord, ‘and see if I will not THROW OPEN the floodgates of heaven and POUR OUT SO MUCH BLESSING that there will not be room enough to store it.” (Malachi 3:10)

For those who are new to the concept of tithing, we encourage you to spend time in prayer and ask God how much you should give. The Word also says that we should test God when it comes to our giving, this means that we should give and expect Him to bless us graciously in return. Why not commit to tithing consistently for three months and see how God moves in your life, your family, your workplace and your finances?
